Christel from Radiodays Europe, organisers of Podcast Day Online

Where to start?
Initially I had seen on Twitter an account called Podcast Day Online liking posts, which they had been doing for a short while before I was recording episodes for the show.
I contacted them to let them know that I was starting my own show, and asked if they wanted to take part. The person in charge, Rosie, said that they would love to.
A time was set for recording initially around the same time as the large group that were set for the week after the initial recording with Robbie for episode one…
That week following the initial episode was meant to see me record shows with these, Tom & Andy of 2 Legs, Ben Burrell, Sam from Paul Or Nothing, Jason from Strange Brew, Anthony from Glass Onion, the guys from the Gene Roddenberry authorised Star Trek show, and Sean O’Connell from Reelblend.
It wasn’t to be!
The guys from the Star Trek show were too busy, and haven’t gotten back to me yet. The chat with someone from the Podcast Day organisers Radiodays Europe however was postponed a few times until finally on Thursday the 15th of October 2020, the show was recorded.
As it turned out, it was actually a really nice chat, and I felt as though I’d actually hit my stride. It was great that Radiodays Europe Project Manager Christel actually asked me questions as well, which really fit with the conversational approach that I hope to capture.
Editing the show afterwards was so easy, because I think that both myself and Christel were so prepared for it. Because of the preparation, we were able to just go through it without any stumbling.
The fact that it’s a short episode does slightly bug me, but that’s how it had to be.
